Struggling with Faith – Decemberadio
People who believe in God are often seen as weak or wacko. The weak need God because they’re unable to find confidence in themselves and the wacko use God to instill fear through terrorism and hate. It’s not hard to see why more and more people would choose to distance themselves from faith by association – after all, faith means to take action without knowing all the facts – right? Well, the first thing to know is that doubt and asking questions is not the opposite of faith. Seeking answers is the best way to live life. Being lazy and apathetic leads no where and let’s be honest – life doesn’t have a pause button. Time keeps moving and life will end – shouldn’t we try and figure out why we’re here, and who created us in the first place? Having faith means to take small steps towards trusting that God loves you, has a plan for you, and wants to have a daily relationship with you – questions, doubt and all.
If you’re struggling with this issue and need someone to talk to please click the ‘chat with a SoulMedic” button at the top of the page. By keeping your issue a secret you are giving it power to destroy your life while it spreads as a cancer into your thoughts, actions, and relationships. Isolation is the worst way to live a full life, because it convinces a person that no one needs to know, that no one really understands, and ultimately, that no one really cares. That’s not true! Life on life community is the best way for a person to flourish in their understanding of self, others and God. However, when we spend all our energies protecting our secret from the world this mindset can create an independence stronghold that feels true but is a lie really killing you from the inside out.
