Texteractive 2019

If you missed Texteractive, our annual interactive fundraiser, then you MISSED OUT!

The night started off with some lighthearted trivia as people made their way across the room to find their seats. It provided a playful fun atmosphere that has always set RemedyLIVE apart from traditional fundraisers. Illuminated giant TEXTERACTIVE letters lined the front of the stage as the visual focal point of the evening. The tables were uniquely decorated with purple hues and carefully crafted brain bookends to unify the night’s theme “understanding the teenage brain.”

The tables were not the only place where the themed brains of the night could be spotted. A fun and whimsical photo booth accompanied the entranceway, where participants could snap a memory with conversation bubble brain props.

As participants of the night started on their dinners, host Curtis Smith invited us to engage in the videos informing us who and what RemedyLIVE is; a ministry dedicated to engaging in conversation about mental health and secret struggles.

Throughout the night we saw the faces and heard the stories of SoulMedics on the front lines of the 24/7 chat center. We saw highlights of the Get School Tour program and heard the testimony of its impact.

The night’s keynote speaker, Doug Smith, shared his knowledge on the intricacies behind screen time and the brain. All audience members were sent home with a copy of Doug's book “[Un]Intentional”.

As the night was nearing a close, team trivial claimed another winner for the coveted Texteractive trophy. Executive Director, Clinton Faupel, gave us insight into how RemedyLIVE’s ministry impacts the lives of thousands of individuals around the nation through the gracious giving of RemedyLIVE’s donors.

We are grateful to everyone who came to support us this year, and who gives so generously to keep RemedyLIVE moving forward to those who need us. We continue to have meaningful conversations with those looking to share their secret struggles, and we will take great strides in the coming days to help break the stigma surrounding mental health.

As we approach year’s end, we hope you will stay engaged as a donor with our unique mission to have meaningful conversations through technology to move people closer to Christ!
