The RemedyLIVE 365 Self Care Guide is a service that anyone can opt into to receive daily posts on how to own their mental health and growth. When a person texts “CARE” to the number 494949 they will begin receiving daily messages with links to posts that have been created to emphasize different areas of self care.

Daily Themes

Sunday

Rest

Sunday’s post will focus on what each of us needs to do to truly rest. This could be the importance of napping, sleeping, or relaxing - with all distractions off. It could include the importance of technology fasting or choosing to meditate on content that brings peace to our soul.

Monday

Goals

Monday’s post will focus on setting goals for ourselves that help us to create change within ourselves. These goals could include exercise, reading, screentime parameters, social engagements, or how choosing to list 3 things each day we’re thankful for something. Although we need to set goals to eliminate bad habits, these goals should be focussed on positive choices rather than focussed on the negative.

Tuesday

Circumstances

Tuesday’s post will focus on being honest about the circumstances a person finds themselves in and how much those circumstances are wearing down their strength, confidence, value, and willingness to be transparent with others about their circumstances. Circumstances could include loss, stress, family issues, finances or any environmental surrounding we find ourselves in - good or bad.

Wednesday

Relationships

Wednesday’s post will focus on the importance of community and trusted relationships. We were created to be known and to share our life with people that can contribute to our strength as well as us to theirs. Likewise we need to be honest about the relationships we have with people that are not good for us so that we can create boundaries to keep our mind healthy.

Thursday

Past

Thursday’s post will focus on the importance of recognizing how our past experiences affect us still and to regularly reflect on the experiences we’ve had that have shaped our view of self, either positively or negatively. Looking at one’s childhood is ultra important so that root systems of dealing with life can be addressed as well as how those experiences years ago ripple into the present and our future.

Friday

Biology

Friday’s post will focus on neuroscience, brain development, neuroplasticity and the latest studies that help us understand the complexity of the brain. It’s also important to understand how brain health affects the rest of the body as well as how screentime, sunshine, and the created world around us can help improve our brain health.

Saturday

Hobbies/Coping

Saturday’s post will focus on what we love to do to restore our soul as well as what we need to do when we find ourselves overwhelmed or struggling, including new ideas or hobbies that we have never tried before.
