Inspiration for Isolation
Is it becoming harder and harder to do everyday normal activities? Sometimes it’s even hard to remember what those activities are. It can be nice to have a checklist somewhere in your house that you can mark off whenever something gets done. A dry erase board can be really satisfying when at the end of the day you can literally wipe the slate clean and start fresh in the morning. I don’t seem to ever have this problem, but a number of people I know say they skip meals because they simply forget to eat. If you write down what needs to be done and check it off as you go, you are likely to become more organized and more aware of the time you spend during the day. Here are a few examples of what could be on your check list.
Take a shower
Eat breakfast
Make your bed
Take you medication
Clean one space in your house
Eat lunch
Read one chapter of a book
Take a walk
Smell a flower
Find one thing that makes you laugh
Eat Dinner
Say hello to someone outside your home
Do one thing to elevate your heart rate or stretch a muscle
Brush your teeth
Say a prayer
